Course Description
Tuscan Plein Air Painting
This course focuses on studying the Tuscan landscape while working directly from nature. Special attention will be given to the observation and translation of light and colour in plein air painting, including warm and cool colour relationships, composition, and atmospheric perspective.
Students will paint the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany in oil, learning how to capture the character of natural light and the harmony of the surrounding environment.

Constructive Drawing – Portrait
This retreat can also focus on classical drawing based on the constructive method. The course introduces students to the fundamental principles of structure, form, and composition that form the foundation of academic art training.Participants will learn how to analyse complex forms, understand the anatomical structure of the head, and translate three-dimensional form onto a two-dimensional surface. The teaching will combine demonstrations, individual guidance, and theoretical explanations. The goal of the retreat is to help students develop a deeper understanding of form, proportion, and composition, while strengthening their observational and constructive drawing skills.
